Individual Therapy
Individual counseling is preferred when one has personal issues they would like to explore and resolve. It is often easier to comfortably disclose intimate concerns in a one-on-one format. In this modality of treatment, there is some flexibility where you and your therapist may decide that it may be helpful to have friends, family, colleagues or partners get involved with your therapy sessions and participate in treatment.
The length of treatment will depend on your needs. The treatment plan will be shared with you towards the end of the first session. It will be based on the information gathered, as well as your set goals.
